Missions

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost; 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen

- Matthew 28:19-20KJV

At HPCF, we don’t just give money to support local missions or those in other parts of the world. The mission isn’t something that happens in addition to other church ministries. Instead, everything we do deliberately supports our God-given command to reach the world with the gospel. So, when we talk about our mission, it truly is Christ’s mission that we continue to carry out here on Earth.

For us, being involved in the mission includes training up, sending out, and supporting local missionaries. We hope to reproduce the local church through church planting in other towns, cities, states, and countries and we continue to grow and learn. We encourage every one of our members to take part in God’s mission.

Below you will find a few of the different missionaries and their missions that we are invested in.

After their time in Germany, Bob and Karen returned to the U.S., where Bob served at Harvest Church in Blue Springs, Missouri. After several years, God placed a strong call on Bob’s heart to return to pastoral ministry. He was then hired as the pastor of Main Street Christian Church and later stepped into the role of Interim Pastor at The Congregational Church in Stockton.

Through his ministry, Pastor Bob has impacted many lives and continues to shepherd the flock with faithfulness, compassion, and a deep love for the Lord.

Shining Light Academy

Sanchez Mira, Philippines

Shining Light Academy (SLA) was founded in 2011 with a heartfelt mission to provide quality education to children in the Philippines. What began with just 29 students in Grades 1 and 2 has since grown into a thriving institution recognized for excellence in academics and character development. From its earliest days, SLA demonstrated a commitment to excellence, with students—affectionately known as SLAions—becoming champions in the prestigious MTAP-DepEd Challenge within the school's first six months of operation. Since then, SLA has continued to make history, becoming the first private school in Cagayan to be named Regional Champions.

Through God’s grace and unwavering dedication, SLA has expanded to serve over 350 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, offering an education that is not only effective but award-winning. The school recently received full Government Recognition for all educational levels and was deeply honored to be named the Most Outstanding School of Region 02.

SLA is guided by the leadership and vision of Joseph Samuel and his wife, Vilma. What started with just $40 and a calling to follow God's direction has flourished into a beacon of learning and hope for the community of Sanchez Mira. With faith as its foundation and a commitment to excellence, SLA continues to be a blessing to countless families, shaping the leaders of tomorrow with wisdom, integrity, and purpose.

In response to Christ’s calling, Christadaus pursued theological studies to equip himself for the mission field. After completing his education, he joined a church planting ministry dedicated to reaching remote villages in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Orissa.

GAP Ministries is committed to discipling believers, equipping and encouraging called ministers, and providing the necessary tools to empower men and women to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

Beyond spiritual transformation, GAP Ministries extends Christ’s love through tangible acts of service. We provide food assistance, housing support, and job training programs to uplift struggling communities. Additionally, we build water wells in remote and underserved areas, ensuring access to clean water. To further support our mission, we distribute bicycles and two-wheelers, enabling ministers and workers to reach distant villages more effectively.

Our ministry is rooted in the powerful words of Ezekiel 22:30b (KJV): “…stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I have found none.”

At GAP Ministries, we stand in the gap—bringing hope, transformation, and the love of Christ to those in need.
